The
"Saddle" is owned an run by the Mick and Barbara McMonagle with Barbara's
mother Mary Tait.
The Hotel is situated on the main street of the village. A very good standard of food and accommodation. There do extensive bar meals and there is a specials board and, a restaurant service. Open to non residents, the Saddle is a favourite place for many locals and visitors. They also do a 'take away' service - great for that Sunday roast lunch! There is a remote split level section away from the front lounges and eating areas. This has a large open family room well stocked with toys for the young. If you are not one for large meals you are well advised to ask for ' a smaller portion' and the writer advises you well on this point!!!! More information is available at there web site at www.accta.co.uk/saddlehotel |
