"Leisure and Recreation around the village"

Playground - On the river side of the village there is a wonderful playground for children. This has been recently renewed by the Parish Council.
The area where the playground is sometimes known as 'The village green' as it is also a meeting place for some local events such as the Annual raft Race. It is situated on Riverside Road!
Care must be taken as the river comes up to the boundary wall at high tide. 
There is also a communal Barbecue in the 'village green' area.

The riverside walk from the Duchess bridge brings you to the Playground.

Golf Courses and Playing Field. The view on the right is from the beach across a part of the links toward the village of Alnmouth. The Golf Clubhouse can be seen on the left of the picture.

There is a village football field.

The Cricket ground is located outside of the village.
